WHO IS MIND
& BODHI THERAPY

Employing Cutting Edge Strategies During Counseling Sessions

As therapists, we have always been fascinated by the capacity for people to change and rise above obstacles. Our specialties include helping individuals process their past traumas and find relief from their symptoms of worry, fear and hopelessness or their dependence on substances. We address clients’ underlying pain through effective, empirically proven approaches, helping them free themselves from stress, phobias, mood imbalances and addictions. These therapeutic tools work with the brain on a neurobiological level, allowing clients to clear emotional blocks and move forward in life with confidence.

We have also found it helpful to combine body-oriented approaches and thought-focused strategies to further facilitate the healing process. Sessions are always client-driven, and we approach our work together with an open mind so we can explore the benefits of personalized techniques so each client can resolve deep issues, develop new coping strategies, maintain lasting results, and even develop their mind until there is nothing left to cope with (yes, it is possible). We understand the mind to be naturally resilient, and with a tailored mind-body approach, everyone has the ability to feel whole and reach their goals.

Ensuring The Best Therapy Environment

We're dedicated to building a personalized counseling experience that is tailored to your needs and interests. We hold all of our clients in an unconditional high regard, understanding that “normal” is relative. As we work together, we will honor your individual observations and experiences and help you find your most fulfilling, vibrant and healthy “normal.”

We also believe the positive relationship between the client and the therapist is one of the most important components to successful therapy. In addition to respecting your personal history and preferences during treatment, we offer a flexible schedule, allowing for some evening, early morning or weekend sessions.

If you are interested in learning more about how counseling can help you find relief from your struggles and release your inner potential, please contact us at 720-550-2677, by email or schedule for a free 30-minute phone consultation. We're happy to discuss your needs, our practice, our therapeutic philosophy, and how we may work together.

Getting Involved In The Community

JoAnna's specialization in treating trauma disorders and addictions informs her important involvement in the veteran community. After offering veterans and their family members treatment for a number of years, she decided to take her commitment to social justice to the next level. In November 2015, she founded the Bodhi Battalion, a nonprofit that works with veterans to help them overcome challenges related to mental health or addiction, obtain qualified care with the possibility of a service animal and build a rewarding life in the civilian world.
